We're Moving to 350 W. Penn!

On Monday, June 23rd at 9:30 a.m., we are opening our brand new building at 350 W. Penn St. in North Liberty.

The new building will better serve our neighbors with:

A new 10,500-square-foot facility, allowing more food donations to be accepted
Private space for neighbors with needs beyond food and clothing
Food and clothing distribution under the same roof

Our "new" hours

The food pantry's hours will stay the same at the new building.

Our community closet will be open the same hours as the pantry in the new space starting, June 23rd.

Closure dates

We will be closed Thursday, June 19th and Saturday, June 21st while we move.

If you need groceries, we will be open Wednesday, June 18th from 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. for shopping, and grocery deliveries will be made 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Grand Opening Event!

In celebration of the new facility and NLCP’s 40th anniversary, the community is invited to a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, Open House, and 40th Birthday Party.

At the new building on Monday, July 14th, at 4 p.m.

Donation Hours

Before we move, our donation hours are 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

After we move, donation hours will increase to 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Growing Together Garden

We are taking the Growing Together Garden with us to the new space! This garden season, we're planting early season plants at the current building, and planting later season plants in containers we’ll bring to the new space.
